Lake Powell

We recently went camping at Lake Powell. He had a blast. Wentzle had many firsts on this trip:

-first time driving out of the state of Colorado (he did really well in the car)

-first time camping in a tent (loved sleeping on the air mattress)

-first time swimming in a lake

-first time riding in a boat (beep beep)

-first time having a smore (which he didn't want at first, but then was happy in the end)

Football Fan

Carlin already has Wentzle working on "throwing" a football.

Don't let the football fool you, he's actually a Packers fan like his dad.

He even cheers "YEAH!" when they score (and sometimes just because).

Rocker

A few reasons why we love these photos of Wentzle:

1-I found the shirt at a Salvation Army in Denver and had to get it because Carlin and I took our honeymoon in Akumal (which is a city in Mexico).

2-We have a great picture of Wentzle when he was 6 mos in these same headphones (they are actually for use at a shooting range, we bought them for when we go to outdoor concerts and the music is really loud, he seems to really enjoy playing with them.)

3-Just love seeing him in a "big boy" shirt.

We can't believe how fast he is growing up!

Oktoberfest

Wentzle's 2nd Annual Oktoberfest. It was a beautiful day. (Sunday it hailed and rained) Went was exhausted. Maybe next he will be able to stay up and polka.

Push Bike

Grandma & Grandpa Shotts bought Wentzle a push bike for Christmas. Why are there pictures of Wentzle on it already? Grandma could not wait to see him on it. She took it out and put it together during this last visit. had to take out the push bike. Wentzle is still a little too small for him. He should be already at Christmas time.

Winter is a Comin'

Wentzle was pretty excited to try out his new fleece jacket. As far as the shoes, we have had those since he was only a couple months old. He almost fits into them.
