Christmas Eve 2010

I had to make Christmas Eve it's own blog. W opened all the gifts from extended family.

W helped hand out gifts.

The dump truck was the first gift he opened. We barely got to see it. There was a bit of crying, but in the end he was happy.

The front end loader from Aunt Steph & Uncle Ryan was definitely the winner that night. W used the drill on everything.

W loves his legos. He likes to build towers that are taller than him.

Daddy likes legos too.

W loves his Mr. Fox.

W reading some Toy Story books. He loves everything TS.

We can't wait til next year. (neither can W)

Sno Fun

Just some photos of W playing in the snow. How he loves the snow.

Jumping into the snow bank.

Yeah!

"Walking" the dogs.

Christmas 2010

Christmas this year was pretty exciting. W really got into opening presents, whether they were his or not.

Santa brought W a Teddy Ruxpin. It did not take long for W to run the batteries out.

W was pretty stoked about his new Woody doll. It even talks. W spent the day taking his hat off and waiting for Woody to saw that he lost his hat. Then he would put the hat back on him and Woody would say thank you and W would say "you're welcome." It was cute, yet annoying.

W also got a Jessie doll to go with Woody (as you can see, the drill that came with his digger, still was a favorite. He found so many uses for it)

W having fun with Mr. Potato Head.

W showing off his cheezy smile.

W got a real guitar from Grammy & Pa Pa Shotts. He "plays" Elvis and The Flower Song.

Gingerbread House

We made a gingerbread house this year. W loved it (and as you can tell, so did Carlin).

W ate more M & Ms then he used decorating.

The finished product.

W had made a "gingerbread house" at school. He added candy and royal icing while Carlin was decorating his.

Skiing

W went skiing for the first time, on a powder day. Lucky kid!

He was really into it. We rode the bus to Peak 9 and then walked out to the run. He skied a little ways and then was done.

W having some hot cocoa @ Mi Casa after. He told everyone he saw that he had gone skiing.

This also happens to be the last photo of W with his long, luxurious hair.

Sno Fun 2

Some pics of W having fun in the snow.

What a ham!

Sledding with Daddy & Mommy.

Snow Angel.

Dew Tour 2010

W visited the Dew Tour 2010. He is becoming a seasoned pro (he also went last year).

We saw the Toyota Yeti.

Here is the base of the slope style course. We were not able to see the half pipe this year. Since they made it 22', they moved it up the mountain, so you had to take a chairlift.

Verizon was a sponsor and you could sent texts and they would post on the screen at Peak 8 base.

W's first haircut

It just so happens, the day W went skiing for the first time is the same day he wanted a haircut.
So, he finally got his first haircut. W told Daddy that he wanted a haircut just like him, but with scissors. (Carlin uses clippers to "cut" his hair)

I cried, so Carlin braved the job of cutting. (he did a pretty good job) W did a good job of sitting still, but he did not like the newly cut hair falling on his skin (can't blame him).

Not too bad.
