Which is Wentzle and which is Zephyr?

We can not believe how fast Zeph is growing.  He is almost 6 mos old already.  He is really developing into a little person.  He loves being part of what ever is going on.  He is mellow and easy going.  He seems to only cry when he is hungry.  He started eating solids a couple of weeks ago and now is eating three squares a day.  He has started "talking" a lot and he enjoys when we make noises with our mouths.  Zeph can roll both ways and has started to sit up (if someone braces him or he holds onto something).  W is a great entertainer and can really get Zeph giggling.  Zeph does a great imitation of a running water by drooling all day long.  We really hopes he cuts a tooth soon.  We are still waiting to see what color Zeph's hair will be, since he really doesn't have any yet. 

Bros being bros

Here are some photos of the boys.  W loves the camera almost as much as he loves his bro.  W is great at hanging out with Zeph and making him laugh.

W recently went to a painting class at Ready, Paint, Fire.  He was joined by Indie & Mads (who are in his class at Carriage House).  They had a blast. 

The final product, an underwater scene with Nemo.

Snow Day

 

We finally got some snow!  W was so excited to be able to make a snowman.  

(the snow has been too crusty to make much of anything.)

W got some sledding in with Daddy.  

I can't remember the last time he went sledding, which is odd since it's already the end of January.

Sink Tub Time

 

We just had to give Zeph a bath in the kitchen sink.  W had a lot of these.  

But since W takes baths in the tub, so does Zeph usually.  

He seems to enjoy.  He likes to lounge while being bathed.  

We hope he stays this easy going thru the horrible 3s.

Zeph is eating real food

 

 Zeph has started to eat 2 solid meals a day.  

So far he has had bananas, apples, yams, squash & oatmeal.  

Yams seem to be his favorite so far.

 

He gets pretty excited when he sees the spoon, it's the same when he sees a bottle. 

He just can't get enough. 

It's a nice change from trying to figure out when and what a 3 1/2 year old (Wentzle) will eat.
