Feeding

Zeph figures if he holds the bottle you won't take it away.  His appetite has really picked up.  

We went to the doctor's today and he now weighs 11 lbs 10.5 oz.  Yeah! 

Christmas Crafts

Here the Santas that W and I made, along with some snowflakes.  We have been very busy getting ready for Chritmas.  It's been a lot of fun.  I'm going to have to get creative for our crafts until Easter. 

C was able to find room in our tiny little house for a small Christmas tree.  (note: the construction paper chain hung by the windows, yet another craft that W and I did)

Dew Tour 2011

The weather was beautiful for this year's Dew Tour.  So it was packed with people.  This was W's 3rd tour and Zeph's first.  It was also Zeph's first time riding the gondola.  

We can't wait til next year.

We didn't actually watch much of the competition (you have to hike up to the pipe, which is not easy with a 3 year old and baby).  We spent a lot of time in the "village" getting swag.  And since they televise most of the Tour, we DVR'd it.

Making Muddy Buddies

Since W can eat Almond Butter, we made Muddy Buddies this year.  (Sunbutter is just not that great to use like PB in making treats).  W had fun shaking the bag and then enjoying. 

Christmas Lights

The same day we went to see Santa, we also took a tour of Christmas lights in Castle Rock. We were a little disappointed with the lack of Christmas spirit in some neighborhoods, but there was one house that actually choreographed their lights to music, which was awesome!

W was able to help G-pa turn on his lights with a remote.  Pretty cool.

Z was awake when we started, but just couldn't say awake in the dark car.

W yelled "look at those lights" over and over.  He loved it.

Santa Visit

A couple of weeks ago, we went to Santa Day at G-pa Shotts' work.  W had a blast.  They gave us a number (so you don't have to wait in a long line) and send us into a room to do crafts (which W loves), watch a movie and had punch & cookies for us to enjoy.  It was great!

Zeph & W with Santa.  W brought his list (which was a bunch of toys he cut out of catalogs pasted on a sheet of paper) for Santa.  What he was going to ask for changed up until the moment he saw Santa.  In the end, W asked for a kitchen (though he does keep adding to that daily).  Z just wanted that darn santa hat off.

Z was very intrigued with the voices coming out of the laptop (as is Zed, he barks when he hears Celeste talking).
