It was a hot (and when I say hot, it means 70s) weekend in the mountains. W had a blast squirting C with his new water blasters. W was smart, he guarded the bucket of water, so when C had to refill, W could blast him. The day before, we had a bunch of neighborhood kids all sharing the water guns & blasters. It was too cute.

Frisco BBQ part 2
Day two of the Frisco BBQ. Yes, we did not get enough on Friday, so we had to come back on Saturday. It did hail on Friday, so our day was cut short and we met up with the Grandparents, Chuck, Brenda, Celeste, Gracie & Leif.
W waiting for the pig race to start.
W waiting patiently for his bite.
He really enjoyed the pulled pork & beef brisket.
He now has started to ask why I don't eat meat and I tell him that I am a vegetarian and he is a meatatarian

People's Fair 2011
W went to People's Fair (in Denver) for the third year in a row. It was a beautiful day (hot & sunny, which we did not mind, since it snowed after this in Breck).
Once again, W gets chauffeured around in his ride.
W was stoked to get a "free" umbrella (we signed up for a subscription to the Denver Post)
He was very nice about sharing the shade.
Climbing some trees with C. We had to distract him from all of the "kiddyland" stuff, which cost a fortune and he is too small for. Meltdown was eluded.
Pool Time
Allergies
We finally took W to an allergist. At his 3 year old check up, our doctor made it clear that W's peanut allergy could get worse and we needed to get an epi-pen. Not what we expected. So, we made the appointment to do a scratch test. We were hoping to avoid doing this to W, but he was a trooper.
W got to watch Cars while he "cooked" as the nurse put it. All of the different things they tested him for, he was very curious. It was hard to keep him from itching.
Because the first test for peanuts did not yield a positive result, they had to test again. W watched Scooby Doo on YouTube.
In the end, W does have an allergy to peanuts, which we knew. The dr was not able to tell us if that extents to all other nuts, we have to "test" that on our own. In the past we have been able to just give W benedryl for any contact with peanuts, but the dr prescribed an epi-pen, just in case. W also has allergies to grass and slight issues with corn & soy.
W had to "blow" out candles on a computer screen. He didn't really like the nose plug, but it was too cute.

Summer Do
W finally got his second haircut (I know this has made some very happy). At the beginning of June, he finally was ready and asked C to buzz his hair so that he could look like daddy.
He was a trooper.
He was a trooper.
He really didn't like the hair touching his back or landing in his mouth.
He looks like such a grown up.
We can't believe our little boy is already 3!
