Recap of W's Summer

 

This one is really late, but I feel it needs to be written.  

W had quite a summer.  It was the last few months of "freedom" for all of us. 

We started out the summer with a trip to Steamboat Springs.  W still asks when we can go back to see the Steam Boat and play in the hot springs pool.  W got a buzz, just like Daddy.  W got some serious pool time in at G-ma & G-pa Shotts' house.  He started having water cannon fights with the neighborhood kids.  S'mores were a regular treat, since we got our little fire pit.  Baseball became one of W's favorite sports to play with Daddy.  W started riding a big boy bike (even though he said he won't until he was 4).  Zeph was born at the beginning of August and W's life has been changed ever since.  He is adjusting well to being a big brother.  W went on the Georgetown Train with G-ma & G-pa Erickson.  W took a rock climbing class at the Rec Center and then climbed the "Rock" in Castle Rock with his G-ma & G-pa Shotts. 

Over all, Carlin and I cannot believe how much W has changed (& continues to change) since the beginning of summer.  He continues to challenge and amaze us everyday.
