Happy Mardi Gras!

This was Wentzle's first Mardi Gras parade. It was all of about 6 cars. He enjoyed.

Vegas Baby....

Carlin and I just got back from 4 days in Las Vegas, without Wentzle. This was our first vacation without him (and probably the last for some time).

It was hard to leave him, but the reunion was awesome. He seemed to get bigger in just 4 days!

Wentzle finally got the hang of crawling.

He loves to try and knock over the dog water bowl. I don't thnk Zoey appreciates it.

Bath Time is So Much Fun!

I guess Wentzle is a huge fan of water. This started out with Carlin trying to keep Went warm by putting the wash cloth on his shoulders. Just another random occurance that makes Wentzle laugh. We just love when he laughs!

New Teeth

Wentzle's teeth have arrived! (at least 3 of them have, the 4th is still working it's way out)

I think Went is pretty happy about it.

Much Needed Nap

Wentzle put up quite a fight, but in the end this growing boy needs his sleep.

Carlin really likes to make hairdos out of bubbles. (this is one of his best yet)

Carlin's great-grandfather actually made this rocking chair.

Since recovering from his ear infection, Went has decided that naps are for the birds...

More Teeth

If you look really hard you can see that Wentzle is working on four new teeth on the top.

It's been really hard on his sleeping schedule (and Mom & Dad)

It's amazing what makes Wentzle laugh...

Play Area

Wentzle has a new play area. We are tight for space, but we found this foam letter squares and made him a little area of his own in the family room. Since we have wood floors, it's pretty hard for him to get any traction to play, it also gives him an area where there is less dog hair.

Super Bowl Sunday

Went is all dressed up in the spirit of the Super Bowl.

Wentzle's back!

We are so excited.

Wentzle is pretty much back to normal, besides a bit of a runny nose. He had a few bad days. The antibotics were so hard on his little body. He couldn't keep much in. He really hadn't eaten much since Tuesday, but Saturday he ate 4 solid meals, including veggies (which he is not a big fan of)!
