jump part 2

... when I say hours, I mean hours.

jump part 1

He can do this for hours....

BBQ

We hit up the Frisco BBQ a couple of weekends ago. W is not definitely a vegetarian, like his mommy.

W lovin' his rib.

W also sampled some funnel cake. I think he likes it.

What a cute piggie.

W skateboarding

W practicing his "tricks" just like his hero, Tony Hawk.

He also practices "crashing".

Wentzle likes it!

W loves pizza. He also loves to boogie. We love when he's happy.

Rocker Hair

We still have not cut W's hair. Which is awesome for him, cause he can do this...
(Don't worry, he will eventually get a haircut.)

As far as playing with his water, he will be able to do that without hair. So talented.

South Dakota

W took his 2nd road trip in May. We went to Rapid City, SD to meet the MN grandparents. He did great. Of course he had snacks, dvds & his Aunt Lindsay to keep him occupied.

We visited Mount Rushmore. It was a beautiful day. Everyone should visit this monument at least once in their lifetime.

W had fun climbing and running all over the amphitheatre. The trail that runs around the monument was not open yet.

We hit up the Reptile Gardens on one of the cooler days. There were not just reptiles at this attraction.

W hangin' with a local.

W seeing if he was taller than the bird.

We definitely had to visit Deadwood,we were huge fans of the show. Here is a pic from the Cemetery. Since it's on a hill, there is a nice view of the town.

We had to "hike" up a bit to see Seth Bullock's grave. Not sure why it wasn't in the cemetery. We were fans of the show.

We took a train from Hill City to Keystone and back. W liked the ride out, but was a bit board on the way back, due to how slow the trip is on a train.

W got to meet Smokey the Bear (and he didn't freak out, yeah).

W loved this "ride" (if you can call it a ride. It went back and forth). He really wanted to do the driving.

W eating is favorite treat.

There is something called Dinosaur Park in Rapid City. It's a bunch of huge painted dinosaurs at the top of a hill. There is even a souvenir shop that sells hot dogs and sodas. Not sure why either there, but W enjoyed. Great views of Rapid City.

W hung in at the pool every night.

W reading with Grandma E. He had her and Grandpa E rapped around his little finger.

All in all, we had fun. I would not recommend going until after Memorial Day and before Labor Day. That seems to be the summer season and not everything is open before of after those days. Also, it dumped the day before we got there. Being from a town where winter can last up to 9 mos of the year, we prefer not to vacation to other snowy locals. But I must say Mount Rushmore and the scenic drives around the area were spectacular (just wished we could have hiked around more).
