We have been enjoying taking bike rides around the hood this summer.  W is riding his own bike (he actually is needing to move up to the next size pedal bike) and Z rides in the trailer.  Though it is a double trailer, I think C appreciates pulling it with only one kid, especially up hill.

We had the Uncle Chuck, Jess, Celeste and Gracie over for dinner not too long ago.  It was a scorcher of a day.  It was nice to see them.  They had not seen Zeph since he was born! We hung out on the front lawn, in the shade.

C brought out the umbrella, so we had extra shade out front.

hike

We went on a hike a while ago.  I forgot the camera, so C took photos with his phone.  Which meant he had to e-mail them to me and they got lost in my inbox.  It's been fun trying to see how long of a hike we can go on with W.  This was a pretty long hike around part of Lake Dillon.  We did not plan on going so far, so we did not have water or snacks.  W was bummed, but he persevered.  We were so proud.  He got a big serving of mac n cheese at the Backcountry Brewery as his reward.

While we were hanging out on the porch, W did some awesome chalk drawings.  The first one is of C and I holding hands.  Then W added Zeph and himself to the picture.  What a great little artist!
